Heathrow Terminal One is currently undergoing a revamp. Floor Safe have been chosen as the company to carry out the Pendulum slip testing on the expantion strips running through the terminal floor.
NHBC contacted Floor Safe regarding a very high spec tile in their atrium. The tile was Spanish, very high gloss with sparkling pieces of silver marble chippings. Etching the system had little effect on the slip resistance so we are trialing in the restaurant a high gloss polish that encapsulates micro aggregate - the results so far have been successful.
After a recent refit of this stunning tower block in Canary Wharf - London the changing areas of the private pool were proving to be a slip hazard for some of the residents. Floor Safe will be applying an anti slip treatment to the tiles - not only does it give excellent grip in the wet the application was carried out in less that 3 hours and the floor put back to use immediately.

Skanska who are one if not the biggest construction company in the UK have just given Floor Safe the go ahead to Pendulum Slip test various floor surfaces for the new 'Royal London Hospital' project.
Swift Horsman have just recently installed a terrazzo floor in the new Cannon St Station. Floor Safe will be testing this floor using the BS7976 Pendulum slip tester on the 30th.
